Finallly after a 3 month wait
I have been waiting to post this until the deal was done. Picked up a Blue and White TB today. The wait was worth it, got the Jacket and the bike was built 10/09. I ordered it on Oct 23.
Rode home on Sepulveda Blvd on a sunny day. First impression are what others have said, it does not feel heavy. Handling was great on the curves coming over the hill to the valley. The power off the stop is quite different from my America. I like the look of the mirrors, they do not stick out too far and may put some small convex mirrors on them. I like the way the pillion seat forms a little back rest, seems comfortable.
I did notice a coolant smell, but no leaks and I think it something we don't notice in our cars.
We saw the TBs at the Vegas BikeFest last October, my wife loved the B/W color scheme. She said buy one, I took her up on it.
I will be glad to retire in Jan 2011 and start taking some trips.
Hope she does not see anything else to buy.
