Well after a long wait since my time with the Speedmaster its time to shell out the cash and cock a leg over the new Thunderbird. Anyone know or any issues to be aware of before I unload the cash?

The only real issue so far, and they've likely sorted it with any new bike by now, is a thermostat gasket leak that many have had. Haven't heard of any new cases lately so thats why I assume it's been addressed. Simple warranty fix anyways, and not even a bike stopping issue at all. Other than that nothing really. But few have more than 6k miles like me, so it's still in guinea pig stage.

You will love the TBird! I traded up from my America and have had a great six months. I now have 3,000 miles and other than a little problem with the gasket that Dazco mentioned, it has been bullet proof!
