T-Bars

My dealer had a set of the T-Bars in last week for there demo, had the option oh having them my self however noticed some really concerning things, first thing is they are a lot thicker than the standard bars, they then taper down to the normal size where the hardware goes ect, however this part was really rough,it was chromed but very dull and pitted, not smooth at all, i am not 100% that the leavers will cover it all, it looked terrible, next i was not happy with the welds from the risers, they were quite obvious and one side already had spots of corrosion on it, a bit of rain and its going to be even worse

i was wondering if anyone had a set fitted yet? how they look? the riding position is also further forward as well from the looks of it, how comfortable are they?

You're the only one I know that has even seen the bars. I've had them on order since I ordered my bike back in June. My dealer can't get a straight answer from Triumph when to expect them so I'm about the get a refund and look for alternative bars. After what you have said about the quality of the ones you have seen I'm pretty sure I will be looking for an alternative at this point.

Mad, i know this is asking a lot, so don't feel obligated. But if you happen to see those bars again, if you could measure the length of the riser part for me i would appreciate it. It would give me a much better idea of exactly what length of riser to look for. If you can, but again don't feel obligated.
