New Thunderbird Owner / WV RAT

Purchased my new Thunderbird from Kingsport Cycle in Kingsport, Tennessee, USA and they have been great to work with. Went there to try on an AMERICA but I rode the Thunderbird first and had to have it. I feel honored to have one of the first new T-birds in the US. Hope the T-bird population continues to grow. Wish more Triumph riders were here to enjoy the experience. Previous owned bike was a Triumph 650 Bonneville in the '70s. The black T-bird is getting some good reactions from hardcore Harley riders! Displaying West Virginia License Plate, "T BIRD".

Congrats on the wise decision WV RAT and welcome to the board!

I checked for the T BIRD plate here in VA, but it was already taken (by a Ford Thunderbird driver, no doubt).

As you learn more from this section of the board, you'll come to realize that the pecking order for cool TBirds are:

1) B/W
2) Black
3) Silver

You almost hit a grand slam with your purchase, but rest assured you're near to top tier of TBird owners with that Black Beauty!

Hyper - it's unlike you to make a mistake, but I'm sure you would want our newest member to have the proper ranking:

1) Black
2) B/W
3) Silver

Welcome WV!

Nice try engage but you seemed to have transposed a number there. I'm sure you meant to put it this way...

1) Black
2) Silver
3) B/W

At least you had the top one correct.

Leave the pork pies for now - get the sausage rolls while they're hot!
