BC Kit Here!

I just got a call from my dealer saying that my BC exhaust kit is in!! Yeeehaaaa!!

Now I just need to schedule the install. This weekend would have been perfect, but I'm going to be in the Raleigh / Greensboro / Chapel Hill area of North Carolina this weekend taking in some college football.... Hopefully next weekend will give us decent enough weather for me to get them installed.

Oh come on... they don't have any college football down here. Balls with points confuse these folks. Round balls they've got down. (says the Okie lost in the land of mediocre football)

You'll be just up the road from me. Hyper. I'm a bout 45 mins south of you. Shame you're not brining your bike down. Perhaps when It's warmer.

Of course now I have to check with my dealer to see if mine are in. (no cell phones in my office)

Yeah, I wish I was bringing my bike this weekend, the weather is supposed to be great. This is actually a trip my wife is forcing me to make (looking for a summer home / retirement place) and I threw the football game in there just to keep my sanity. Actually going to see a pretty good one at Wake Forest up in Winston-Salem; they're playing Florida State. We're heading to Cary/Raleigh after the game and spend Sunday gawking around ....

I am in the process of planning a Spring Training baseball run to Ft. Myer Florida for this coming March (including an attempt at the Iron Butt certificate) that will bring me right past you there in Fayetteville. Maybe we could hook up for at least a portion of that. I'll let you know as it gets a little closer.

I sure wish I could get these BC pipes on this weekend though ... damn.... but bailing out on the planned weekend would not go over too well with the wife.

Yeah I know how those duties go. Have to keep the little women happy (she'd slap me if she knew I referred to her that way though)

Where are you looking at for a summer home? Are you looking out West to the Yadkin Valley or what? I'm working a deal right now to get a new place north of Bragg to get a bit more into the piedmont and get a bit more land myself. We'll see how that comes about.

Do keep in touch if you get down this way. We'll have to go for a ride. Oh, and just because I'm a nice guy give me your cell and I'll text you how much fun I'm having once I get the pipes installed... you know, just to make you feel better.

Thatch - I assume where you are you ride all year long.

My daughter lives in the Lilllington area and my wife and I will be down there for thanksgiving week. Last year when there over Thanksgiving the weather was fantastic so I am tempted to trailer my bike, but we also went through a lot of snow and ice going through West Virginia so I'm a bit hesitant...
