Tank Badge Options

Hey guys, while I was haveing my last excessorys added today I took a close look at the tank badges for a 09 American and a 09 R3.I put one up to our tank and the cruve is varey close. They have two nipples on the back that would have to be cut off but they should work. The American badge is silver with the word Triumph done in black. The R3 badge is all silver.Just a thought for the guys who think the stock badge is to plain these eyebrow type badges would look good.

I'll check them out, thanks for the heads up. The badge is one thing I really don't care for on the Tbird. If they fit, I might bite.

There is a guy around here who removed the badge and had the "Triumph" script painted onto the tank. It's astounding how much better the bike looks.

Do you mean Kurty's silver bike? They are actually vinyl stickers, but do look good. I just want some 3 dimensionality to my badges, otherwise I'd go that route.

I guess I just need to start buying some and seeing what fits. I'd just rather not have a bin full of useless badges. I wish Triumph would put some alternate badges out for the bike to remove the guesswork.

More pics of this would be nice. I'd be very grateful in fact.

At $35 a piece you probaly need to check them out at your dealer first.

Actually I meant the vintage badges more than anything. I'll be going to the dealer probably on Tuesday and I'm going to ask if they have any badges I can look at.
