Do yourself a favor and wait a while. It's really your only option if you want to know what you are getting because the bike being a new model and the pipes just now being finalized for retail sale, there are 2 problems in determining which are best...1)-theres not going to be anyone who has them yet, and evenn when there is you need to wait till they are in the hands of several people in order to get a good general consensus. 2)-there are no options yet to custom tune them, so no pipe is likely to perform well because all they can do at this point is use triumph's own TORs map, and that map is barely any different than the stock one. Once tuneboy and power commander have models out that will work correctly with out bikes and wayne from tubeboy gets some maps for the Tbird made and uploaded, then we will be able to see which pipes are best. Till then theres just no way to know anythinh about them other than sound. And in that regard we can safely say the TORS will be the best choice for those who want more volume but not a lot. On all models TORs have always been shown to offer the least volume compared to 3rd party pipes. Thats not to say they are quiet....they are a lot louder than stock when accelerating. But at cruise and at idle they're close to stock. They also do not eliminate the cat box while it seems most of the aftermarket pipes (3 so far) do incorporate cat removal. So they are likely to be very similar in power gains and better than tors as long as they all get good mapping to go with them. But the difference whether small or not we will have to wait and see. I have a feeling we will be waiting a whgile too. I suspect 6 months-1 year before PC or tubeboy are out. With Tuneboy you will have to wait till maps are made for each pipe. With PC you can custom map any pipe the day you buy the PC, but it will require you take it to a good dyno tuner and have him custom tune it. Here thats around $300.
