Well, they said that with flu season coming on we’d all be getting sick, and I’ve come down with a full-blown case of MBS.

It all started with my Bonnie in 2006, but since that was the only bike I had, it must have been dormant. Then in 2008 I added my Sprint and had I been paying attention I would have recognized the symptoms.

And then just last week I ordered a Silver T’Bird with ABS from my dealer! And that’s when I realized I had MBS.

But at least I know it’s not the H1N1 virus because I didn’t get a Harley.

Sorry to say I think you probably have TBS - sometimes known as Triumph Bike Syndrome it is more accurately is known as Triple Bike Syndrome. The confusion comes because of course Triumph are well known for their triples.

I have been suffering from it for years!

Unfortunately the only cure possible, it's radical mind you, is to beat it to death with - you guessed it - another Triumph!

I am currently inexorably drawn to adding the Thunderbird to the Garage with the other girls - which will push me beyond TBS to full QBS. Or Quadbikeiosis.

This should not be confused with anything pertaining to those small four-wheel devices sometimes referred to as Quadbikes - which, as should be obvious to anyone with two wheels, are by definition, cars.
