buying t bird

well guess i should introduce myself as i will be joining you guys soon. getting a silver t bird tomorrow. wont be picking it up tho as i am going to have the 1700 kit put in it before i pick it up. also puttig on the british customs pipes. should be a hot bike

Congrats, and did they say anything about the kit's availability? No one here who ordered it has seen it arrive yet and triumph recently said end of october according to thatch.

kit should be in by second week of november and will be fitted with bc pipes. i cannot wait. i will get the bike then put it away for the winter.

silver for speed, and also for show!!

how can you do all that then store it all winter.... bring it down to tucson and I can breake it in for you!

Silverbird: have you been to Performance Cycle in Tucson? They have 2 birds sitting there for almost 2 months. With all the people having to order them, I can't believe neither has sold. I test road the black one and fell in love. Unfortunately neither my mistress (black bonnie) nor my wife will let me pull the trigger. I guess it will be something to look forward to near retirement. By then Triumph may have more of a standard ergo set up with mid controls.
