Smile Done the deed

G'Day All,
been lurking here for a while, though not new to the site (I've owned 2 ST 1050's in the past)

Well, had the opportunity to take a Tbird out for a test ride today and found myself at a desk with pen in hand and down payment made. What could I do, I'm not a curizer fan but this bike just did it for me.

Handling - tick
Brakes - tick
Comfort - tick
Power - tick
Looks - tick
Availability - Biong!!!!!!!!!!!

But you guys know all that, so I'm soon to be a Tbird but have to wait until Feb 2010 to get it. All stock & ordered stock has been presold.

As I ordered a Black ABS model, I won't count the days as its too bloody long till it gets here, but I wouldn't risk missing out on the opporunity to owning one.

Anyway

Cheers all

Poddy

Well done Poddy! The wait sucks, but at least you'll be taking delivery in prime riding season! Keep us updated as your delivery date nears and remember to send pictures.

P.S.

I like your signature line. You should meet my friend, Dr. Harry Beaver (Gynecologist) Link

Great report Poddy, I am no cruiser guy either but the bike is just about perfect !

Hyper , you know he is from Melbourne ? Fall starts when he gets his bike. But I suppose winters are mild in his area.

No worries poddy....it's not a cruiser you fell in love with....it's an every bike. I call it a roadster, and i did long before the new R3 roadster came out. You have a long wait, but it'll be worth it. Congrats.

Fall is prime riding time, isn't it (not too hot, not too cold ... ) I think the average temp in Aus during Feb is 75 - 80F
