Saw a tbird today...was that you?

Anyone here wanna fess up? I don't think anyone in this forum is in So Cal. But today around 11 AM i saw a Tbird on hollywood Blvd. Had i been on mine i woulda turned around and caught up with him. This is kinda nice seeing other owners around, but on the other hand it worries me they will become a common sight. In the 4 years i owned my speedy i saw exactly TWO of them on the street aside for a RAT forum ride we got together way back. So I have mixed feelings about it. Always nice to meet others who share your love for your bike, but i don't want them to become as disgustingly common as harleys. So was it any of you i saw?

Well, I guess the guy isn't a member here. But i just found out who it is. There is a guy 1 block from where i work that has had a America for a good 7 o 8 years now and i always see it parked in front of what i guess is the apt where he lives. It's old and rusty and well used, but now it's gone and theres a new Tbird there ! A little too close to home ! I don't have the unique bike here anymore

If you ARE a member here, i work a block away and see your bike parked on i believe it's las palmas, tho i'm not sure. But it's right between selma and sunset.

I ordered a Tbird at North County "Yamaha" in San Marcos Ca. Will hopefully get it this week.
This bike is for my winter use in California. Home in Finland I ride a Speedy. FYI the Speedy has the same price in Finland as the Tbird in California.

Well, yeah, but then isn't everyone that has a tbird brothers?

Anyways, to the subject at hand, i suppose i was foolish posting this now that i think about it because there were 200 initial birds sold in the states via pre-order, and there are probably another 200 sold since. So with the small group of maybe 20-30 owners here, and probably a quarter of them in other countries, what are the chances this guy is a member? Not likely. Oh well, thought i'd take a shot. maybe i'll run into him eventually......i mean, not literally.....hopefully....

It's probably not as much a longshot as you might think. Some guy on the DCRATS board saw a triumph passing by near Capital Hill and posted it on DCRATS.NET and sure enough, the guy he passed responded.

Maybe the Bird owner in your neighborhood is a seriously dedicated lurker.
