Remus offers Tbird exhaust!

Dudes,
Called the guys at the USA Remus Distributor today because I loved what they did with my Tiger and sure enough..they just introduced exhausts for the Bird. MSRP $1199, said he would give it to me for $999. will not stock..6 week delivery. He is looking into getting more pics, CAT removal, map and sound clip.
I have attached pdf with specs and a pic..looks nice!
Attached Files
File Type: pdf Triumph Thunderbird Mod. 09.pdf (417.1 KB, 149 views)

Thanks for the info kurtyboom! I'd like to see more photos and hear the .wav, mp3,, whatever.

From that picture in the attached .pdf, it looks a little odd, but it's not a very good angle of view. Please keep us updated.

Easy Dazco..it's part of our devalued dollar. These are made in Austria. Everything coming in from Europe is now quite a bit higher.
At this point I'm still going with the BC's. However, I have only a few more days of riding in this dismal cold state of Wisconsin..so I might hold off to listen to all the other exhuast options through out winter.
But, I think BC's had done it's homework, so we shall see.

Devalued dollar or not, it's not likely to sell here unless it does do something spectacular. Not necessarily perform unnatural acts on me, but if it's not well above and beyond others in performance gain how can they expect to sell them at that price? Maybe they should have considered that. And if they want to sell a lot of them the states is where they'll find the most birds by 5 to 1 if the pre order numbers were correct. (250 units: 200 to USA, 50 to the rest of the world) By the way, as to the devalued dollar and euro imports...i heard the Tbird was cheaper here than in the UK. Don't know much about world economy, but i would thing double seems a bit high to say the least.

Interesting slashcut pipes. Not sure what that pipe coming out the middle of the pipe is though. But if those pipes are bypass the cat they sure didn't remove it. (which doesn't make much sense) . Interesting that they will have a map. How will it be delivered? We're right back into the same questions we have on the BC pipes.

Glad to see more folks releasing pipes regardless of these being priced like they were stuffed full of heroin. Birdy might be interested in these.

I like the way they look, minus the straw coming out of the outlet...

Remus has always been on the high end of the spectrum in pricing. Usually a good build quality though. Too much blood for me.

The thing about these and the rassk that i don't care for and i think probably others won't like is the fact that the majority of the length of the muffler is the same diameter, IE: no taper. Thats why i'd go with BC if i had to choose one right now. I think upswept pipes just don't look right unless they're tapered, while pipes that are parallel to the ground like the speedmaster/america look better un-tapered.

I'd agree. Though I do think these look better than the Rassk pipes. Still can't figure out why the cat is still on the bike though.
