Where'd you order from, Dazco? I had them on my old Triumphs and would like some for the new. Best grip I ever had.

Just do an ebay search for gran turismo grips. Theres an abay seller who's been selling them for years. I got them for my last bike from him. They will have to be modded a bit to fit the Tbird if you wanna keep the end caps, (I do) but i did that with my speedmaster and it's a piece of cake. you're right too...they are extremely comfortable and take a lot of strain from your hands. Not to mention all triumphs used to have them, so as far as i'm concerned it's mandatory ! I got the 5.25" ones for 1" bars. you have to trim about 1/2" from the end to put the caps on. A new sharp single edge razor and put the grip on and use the bar end to guide the razor for a clean straight cut.

None taken....it's 100% subjective. But if you ever had an old triumph you'd understand. however, trust me on this because when i saw the same pic of them when i got them for my speedemaster i thought they looked kinda cheesy too....but the pic like the Tbird is nothing like they look. They don't have that glossy black and unevenly molded look as in the pic. They have a flat black almost chalky look once used a bit. But the best thing about them is the feel. They are much easier on the hands, they cut vibration, and they have this stickiness that doesn't feel sticky at all but your hands kinda stick to them. It's hard to explain, but i love it. I can turn the throttle and just lay the palm of my hand on it with fingers straight out on the freeway and the throttle stays in place because of the way they stick. Anyway, they are nite and day better than the stockers and they do look good when you see them in person, especially if you are a fan of the vintage triumph look. I'm dying to get em. they shipped today. By the way, a lot of the bonnie and variant riders love em.

Yeah, they came stock on all brit bikes for years...triumph, BSA, norton, probably royal enfield too. The stock grips are killing my hands because they're too small in diameter to be comfortable. But i like the look too. If any bike part screams triumph it's gran turismo grips. In fact, i order everyone here to put them on thier birds NOW. Do ya'll hear me?!!! Oh, except you thatch....i don't wanna pi$$ you off being so darn big and all.
