I'm looking forward to participating and learning more about Triumph's as this is my first foray into a British bike.

Welcome to the forum!

What Triumph have you brought home, or plan to bring home? I love my Triumphs! Give me half a minute and I will brag about them, for sure.

Please complete your user profile so that we may see where you are from and what you ride as you post throughout the forums. Thanks!

Thank you. I have it narrowed down to either a 2009 or 2014 Speedmaster. The 2014 has some modifications (i.e. mustang seat, backrest, luggage rack where the 2009 is pretty stock. I test drove both and not sure if it is just in my mind or not but the 2009 with the dual front brakes seems to stop a little better but it was the second bike I rode. I've read there really is no difference or that it is very minor. Would welcome your thoughts as other then what I have mentioned the bikes are solid and in good shape. Looking to make a decision this weekend as Speedmasters are hard to find in my area and I don't want to miss out.)

Introduce yourself in the Cruisers - America, Speedmaster forum and engage the members there with your questions. They will best be able to speak to the differences between the two models.

Best of luck, and be sure to tell us what you chose!
