Hi - just joined the forum as I recently bought a '67 Bonnie. I have a few bikes from 2000 onwards up to modern bikes for commuting but the Bonnie is the first bike I've bought to try and maintain myself. On my first ride I was laughing out loud at how much fun it was compared to modern superbikes, am absolutely hooked !

It was restored before I bought it, ran great for the first 100 miles and now of course will not start :smile2:

Its currently in bits as I try and learn how to get it going again, frustrating as I have such limited mechanical ability but I'm really enjoying learning.

Looking forward to learning more from the experts here as I go along.

thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

My limited mechanical knowledge and patience has prevented me from picking up a classic, but the urge has been getting stronger as I get older. I am an aircraft mechanic (military helicopters) so you would think I could get on with it fine. But I have never really had an interest in fixing my own cars and my motorcycles have always been newer and didn't require much past oil changes.

You will find some extremely knowledgeable and helpful folks here at TriumphRat. The Classic, Vintage, and Veteran forum is the place for you to connect with riders and restorers of classic Triumphs. Introduce yourself there, post photos of your T120, and engage the members!

There is much to our site, so please make yourself at home, browse the forums, and join the banter.

Cheers!
