Hello from Norn Iron

Hi everyone. In the eternal quest to scratch the two wheel itch, I have added a 79 T140 Bonnie to the stable. Apologies in advance to the purists but this ones getting some mods... Clearly this iconic machine lost it's way with the E US export model - the over sized (and needlessly quiet) Electra Glide style exhausts, the faux easy rider bars, the heavy rear end and comfort, not looks seat. Peel back the skin a little and discover an historic engine dying to deliver it's unique sound track, it's nimble chassis hiding somewhere underneath all the endless casings and plastics. Time to shed a few pounds, let this machine be a character again. So starting with a dry engine (Not a leak anywhere), the plan is to change the whole damn thing.
Will be letting you know how I get along.
