Hi, my name is Paul from Omaha and I recently purchased my first ever Triumph. I've had many bikes over the last 10 years and currently have five: 1966 CB160 cafe (project), 1976 KZ400 (project) , 2005 ZX6RR (track only), 2008 Ninja 250 (track only) and the latest addition, 2001 Speed Triple. I really like the S3, unfortunately, it joined the ranks of my projects right away lol. Long story short, I got screwed by the PO and ended up having to swap another S3 motor into it. I finished the swap recently and I'm 95% done. I am running into a few issues which I think are tuning related and hope to get some valuable insight on this site.

Hey man welcome to the forum. I think you already have more activity than I do on here.

You take any pics during the engine swap or during tear down? Lets see them!

Seems that way. I'll be seriously going over a Street Triple R at the bike show early January, then plunking down the cash (not all, unfortunately) shortly after that.

It rode awesome. Pretty sure if things didn't go down like they did with my S3, I'd have a Street Triple now.
