First Time Triumph Owner!
Hi all! I rode some back in the late 70's but not extensively and forgot most of what I knew. I have been riding a Star XV250 since I got my license in July and just bought a brand new red and white 2013 Bonneville T100. She's a beauty! And so smooth I can't get over it. I'm sure she will be with me for quite some time to come. I have been looking for the last 2 months at the kinds of new bikes available and the pros and cons of each, and have ridden quite a few since then, but the Bonneville was the fist (actually it was a mag wheel Bonnie) and I just kept coming back to it over and over. Finally when I was ready to buy the dealer did not have any SE's (and they were discontinued this year so no more) so I settled for what I really wanted in the first place, a T100. I had been scared that it was too tall for me (I'm 5'6", 130#) and while it still seems too tall I am getting comfortable with it. I might ultimately put on shorter rear shock and lower the front some, but for now I will just try to get used to it.
I went looking for a forum and this seems to be the most active one around. I look forward to meeting other Triumph owners here and getting to know more about my new bike.
