Englishman in Japan

Greetings all,
Been hanging around the vintage forum and adding a few posts but never got around to introducing myself. Been living in Japan for 20 years now and about 12 years ago picked up a 1977 T140v. She was in a real sorry state. A guy from the US had imported her, rode her around for a year and then decided to pull the top end to bits. He never got around to putting her back together and she sat outside for a couple of years under a blue sheet rusting away, then I came along and rescued her. Many years ago back in the UK I used to be a mechanic, so restoring her was not a problem, just finding imperial tools and hardware was. She certainly turns some heads here. I'll try to work out how to post some pics. Last month I picked up a 1971 T120R basket case. Great thing is she is registered under the 250cc class so there is no shaken (MOT) a major expense here.
Hoping now I will be able to see the classifieds as I have a long list of parts needed.
