Hello all,

I am a new member and live on the eastern side of Michigan's Upper Penninsula. Just bought a 2012 Triumph Scrambler and will have to wait out a loooong winter till I can get some serious riding in. Hopefully this place will take a little of the sting out of the wait.

Looking forward to getting to know many of you through this site...

Congrats BP Green, very cool bike, my brother-in-law has a Scrambler and loves it. Nice to see another fellow nor-east'r that has to wait out the cold!

Thanks guys. We have been getting hammered the past couple days and have quite a bit of snow on the ground right now. But come spring first chance I get I'm planning to cross the bridge and head straight north up Rte. 17 towards the Wa Wa area.

Definately some pretty country you guys have up there...

thought I'd share some pics of my new baby. This was the first and last relatively warm day we had right after I got her before I had to put her up for the winter. At least I got to try her out a bit.

How far are you from Houghton/Hancock?

Thanks ArmyVet. I am in the extreme North/East corner of the U.P. as close to Canada as you can be. Driving distance to Houghton is about 270 miles or five hours or so. Is that where you are? I noticed your profile says you have a 2013 McQueen?!? YOU ARE MY HERO!

Wife went to High School in Houghton, her Dad taught at Tech. She went to college at Northern in Marquette.

My two favorite cities up there (that I've been to) are Calumet and Marquette.

I LOVE the McQueen!

I love Marquette! It's right at the top of my list of places to ride to this summer.

By the way, I'm an Army vet too. Did seven years active and two reserve.

I get up the the Peninsula every summer. We'll have to try and ride together.
