welcome!

I have the same feeling about snobbery based on experieinces with a couple of other websites I frequent, (or used to frequent). You'll probably figure out which ones based on the bikes I currently own. Both of these 'un-named' sites are home to extremely snobbish people seemingly because they have this elitest attitude due to the brand bike they ride. Furthermore, the mods are just as bad or worse than the rank and file members. OH WELL! That's just so much more reason to be taking a serious look at switching brands -- hopefully within the next 18 months.

I belong to half a dozen forums, the Honda SOHC forum is the worst, they'd stomp all over you with an opening post like that, for sure. Pretty laid back here.

I think I scared him off.

We Albertans are quite shy and retiring.

uhhhhhhh, ok, but why are you quoting me in rezchug's intro post I was just welcoming him and agreeing a little with his sentiments about websites in general, but not necessarily about this site.
