New Member with an Odd bike to Restore!
Hey! I'm Jesse from upstate New York. I've loved triumphs for years now and it's been a dream of mine to own a 1960's Triumph. I've been reading through the threads here before I joined to get some information on the 1968-1970 Triumph Trophy 250's. It seems like they're pretty iffy to find parts for.
I'm capable of a complete ground up restoration though, and it'd be so great to not only have a Triumph, but a sorta kinda rare one. It has also been a dream of mine to have a show bike.
I live about a 7 minute drive from the British bike restoration shop M & S Cycles and planned to go make a visit there tomorrow to gather a little more info. However! I want to see if you guys have some answers for my questions!
-Is a teardown and cleaning difficult for these bikes?
-Is there any really good place to find parts for these? (It seems triumph parts are all over!)
-Are the 250 engines easy to work on?
Thanks so much!
