Hello Group,
I just signed on to this site.
I suppose that I have to refer to myself as a senior rider, being a 1942 model. My first Triumph was a 1960 Bonneville, which most of you know, pales before today's Bonneville. After the '60 Bonneville I owned a fair number of other Triumphs.
Living in Baltimore in the 1960s, we went through a period where used motorcycles were a hot commodity. We only had three dealers: Boutwell's Triumph, Pete's Cycle (BSA) and Balto. Harley. For some years, I bought used motorcycles, cleaned them up and resold them. Doing that, I had the privilege to have ridden many bikes.
I went through riding the dresser "land barges" when my wife insisted on her comfort, but since she quit riding on the back, I returned to the best bike, my Bonneville, the current one being a 2010 SE model.
Good luck to all who ride!
