Howdy, from Camp Verde, Arizona

Greetings from central Arizona.
Just bought a '06 T100. My last Triumph was a 67 TT Special which I bought new in '67. Love the looks of the old bikes.

Welcome Joe Cactus!

I have a niece, nephew and former sister-in-law (their mother) who live in Camp Verde. I've never been there but they tell me it's nice country, if a little too country.

What difference between your two Triumphs eh? They may look similar to the untrained eye, but a completely smoother, more powerful, better braking and lower maintenance bike the newer one is!

Hey, I drove through Camp Verde a few years ago on a bike trip with a good friend from Mesa. My kind of place, small, quiet, secluded.

WELCOME ABOARD!!

Not sure how to post my first post

Looking around trying to figure out how to make my first post as a new member. Should I click on 'New Thread'? I'll try this REPLY TO THREAD first. Anyway, picked up my blue 2009 America up in Wichita,KS on Tuesday 11/20. Yup, loaded the 09 V-Strom DL650 up in wifeys new Tundra and left Dallas at 3:30 a.m. This is of course after a couple months of searching the interwebnet from Corpus Christi to Memphis. Bikes are literally $1k cheaper in OK and KS, worth the drive from Dallas. It's rather filthy and will need a top-down but I'm one proud dog. A million thanks to everyone here at the Rat for doing years of design, research and testing. I can't think of one question yet that hasn't already been answered. Although I did notice a wire coming out from under the drivers seat on the left side by the rear wheel. It looks stock and has an end cap on it. Maybe it's for an accessory like a heated seat.
