First post!! No idea if I am even doing this right ( new to any forum)
I purchased my very own 1995 Thunderbird 900 six months ago and have spent the time cleaning and tweaking to get to ... Just right.
I have fitted a new carbie kit from the US ... Sensational for evening out the performance with a k&n filter and rebuilt the seat ( much better ride for my short legs). With about 70,000 k's on the clock all fluids and services done and everything checked and rechecked it WAS riding like a dream... After not being on a bike for the best part of 20 years the only thing unchecked was myself and a nice slow corner ended up with my ego and the front of the bike a mess.
So here we go again... We shall rebuild... Unfortunately in Aus there are not a lot of these baby's around so I now need to try to source a "new" instrument panel speedo etc.. I will stick a post in the forum ( provided I can find the right section ) to see if anyone can help.
Have signed up for a "refresher" three day course to sort out the muppet on the seat..
