Hello All, I'm just looking at the Triumph Thunderbird Storm right now and seeing what's good and not so good about the bike. I'd like to get one by Spring but I would have to make room and sell off a few that I have now (All JAP bikes).

What I don't care for with the T'Bird is that the gauges are on the tank. I'd prefer the R3 classic gauges on the bars and a smooth gas tank, maybe a bit larger as well.

The paint in the UK is soft, has anyone thought to get naked skin and have it painted here ? I wonder if a bike can be ordered like that, at a reduction in price of course.

Your other points are very valid as well.

2011 Storm is my 1st big bike, but allow me to say that it MORE than syncs right up with my adrenalin needs on my rural county roads!
