Well, I sold mine to a guy in Elk Grove (near Sac) but he could easily have sold it on since. Only things I can think that would stand out were I had cut down the rear fender and added a helmet lock to the licence plate bracket - though that was a bolt-on and could have been removed. I did have the OEM carbon pipe that you can see as well as the OEM heated grips. She was sold with the Triumph saddle bags as well, but again no telling if they would have stayed with it over the years.
As for riding year-round in SF, you can do it but get some good rain gear. We haven't had any weather to speak of yet this season, but it's coming. In fact, the temp should be dropping about 20 degrees today or tomorrow. You won't have freezing temps to deal with, but you should expect plenty of 40's in the mornings or at night, with upper 50s/lower 60s being about normal for our winter highs. And rain, plenty of rain. All our year's rain falls pretty much from late November through about April.
It's totally doable, but you'll want some good gear!
