Hello from NY

Hi everyone, this is my first posting. I recently acquired a slightly used 2011 Tiger 800 abs. Shortly after my purchase, my local dealer informed me that there is a recall for the return spring in the tranny. This work was just completed, I don't notice any difference from before this mod was done. I have several motorbikes and I feel most comfortable on this one.
We in the Northeast are anxiously not looking forward to the storm named Sandy's visit. Hopefully it will be short
I look forward to interacting with other members on this site. Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself.

Peace, Chico

I'm watching the news right now, it's just at high tide in New York. It looks like the whole state is Suffern.

That's very clever Pop. Yes we are suffering in NY. I have been lucky, just lost power, internet and phone for twenty four hrs. Suffern is about thirty miles NW of NYC, so no sea surge. We did have many trees down on roads, power lines and some homes. Sadly, there are thousands of poor souls suffering through a traumatic event in their lives.
Thank you for the warm welcome.
