Hi everyone, Newbie here. Have been riding for over 30 yrs, living in Massachusetts. Currently ride an 05 VTX 1300 and am looking for something different. Have ridden many bikes lately and have fallen in love with the Tiger 1050. Fits me perfectly. Apparently used ones are hard to come by as I've only found 3 in all of the Northeast. Unfortunately new is out of the question. So, my search continues and will be looking for info and advice from the forum.

Well, picked me up a nice 2010 Tiger 1050, low miles, lots of add-ons and still under warranty!! At this point the only real want is to get rid of the stock muffler and open up the air box. Coming from a VTX 1300 it's got PLENTY of giddie up! (for now ;-)) So I'll need to figure out how to modify the ECU box.

Anyone know if the muffler from an 07 Tiger 1050 will fit the 010?? I have access to one and understand the stock can can be modifed to give it a deeper, louder sound.

Aren't you the guy who bought my 2000 Triumph Sprint RS from my pal Bob H. over in Douglas a few years ago?

Anyhow, good luck with the search. There was a black 2007 Tiger 1050 ABS on the Boston Craigslist for a time, but it's been snatched-up by another member here and he's really liking it, putting big bucks into luggage he likes better and some high-end suspension bits like what my RS had when I sold it to Bob.

(Sorry if I got it wrong and you're not that guy who bought it, btw.)
