hello to one and all, looking forward to getting lots of ideas from folk who have been generous enough to share their experiences with working on the Thruxton. Paid my deposit yesterday, now a 10 day wait for delivery. Bike will be fitted with better pipes and remap from new, and I've already paid for a full workshop manual and AI removal kit.

My history of more than 100 bikes since 1973 includes lots of Guzzis and Ducatis and Harleys, so I've always had a preference for relatively simple and owner serviceable air cooled twins. After a break from bikes of 12 months or so, I'm looking forward to getting back in the saddle, and eventually doing some tinkering.
