Hello everybody,
Finally got around to joining a forum even though I'm nearing the end of rebuilding my 77Bonny.Had the bike around 10 years and after 1 engine siezure & countless electrical breakdowns, usually in the middle of nowhere, decided to bite the bullet & rebuild.Everyday ride is an 08 Sportster 1200 (yeah I know, traitor to the cause). Many trials and a big learning curve during rebuild, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.Hopefully will get some pics up soon.

Obligatory first time user post.
Picked up a 2013 Street Triple R two weeks ago after researching all the new naked bikes. Was torn between the Aprilia Shiver 750 and the Ducati Streetfighter. Rider reviews steered me towards the Triumph. No regrets. Huge improvement over my 2005 Yamaha FZ6. Actually rode it the other day after spending 1000 miles on the Triple, and it felt like wimpy toy. No comparison between the two.
The only modification I've made so far has been the addition of the color matched fly screen. Makes the front end look like a completely different bike. Can't speak as to the improved wind deflection yet, but it certainly does look better.
Suggestions on any cosmetic mods? No so much interested in performance enhancement.

Hi All, I started biking again last August having a break from it for over 30 years
Bought myself a new T100 and also a 1994 Sprint 900. I’m loving every minute
of it and just can’t believe I’ve been missing out for years. Looking forward to
chatting with you guys.

New member question

Hi Everyone
Just bought a new Street Triple and wanted to say hi to everyone

While here wanted to ask people's views on the standard Pirelli tyres that are fitted to the Street. I have noticed that the back slips in the wet. I used to ride a Honda Hornet with Michelin Pilot 2 and never noticed as much slipping as on the Street. Is it just the tyres or also because it's a lighter bike?
