Racing 600 RR
So I finally got my friend with Honda 600 RR with full exhaust to race me. He can't do it from dead stop so we decided to do it roll on. First try the Rocket was in first gear 4K RPM, we take off and It pulled hard away from him till I red lined, shift to second drop the clutch and nothing, look down and the N light is on shift again, and keep going and he still couldn't pass me. Second try starting from 70 MPH and I'm in third gear and he was in second, we take off and I pull ahead till I shifted into 4th and he pulled away. I was one car length behind him till 130 MPH where we shut it down. I bet if I had some fairings I could take him. My Rocket has cat by-pass, under seat snorkel removed, K&N, and Triumph tune.
My next race will be against a Busa. However, there will not be any high speed stuff but we plan to race to 100 MPH. He thinks he’ll take me by the time we hit 70 MPH, what do you guys think?
