the reason 25% have trans probs is cuz the rest of us that havnt, dont give a rats ass about polls, and dont participate in them! (me mom would slap me if she heard me talk that way!)

Jack, i suppose i should sympathize with people that are at the dealers mercy. As i have a some what mechanical background. I manage to avoid the dealers for the most part.

I have just touched 43 mpg on my rocket. Once.

if you want mileage by a scooter
The trade off is an additional 40 miles/tank, personally I would rahter have the enjoyment, when mileage is coming into the equation, a rocket shouldn't even be considered. It is a fun bike and I love the torque in top gear allowing a pass with just a twist, 65-90 in mere seconds.
