rear brake

i have 7000 mi's on my 05 R3 the rear brake pads are starting to make a grinding noise when applyed is it something to let me know it needs replacing ? they look good

To your question, I would clean the rotor and caliper and reuse the pads. If the problem continues, then I would contact the dealer to check the rotor tolerances and install new pads.

Shine a light on the pads and see how much you have left.
