Flyscreen

Does anyone know why the Triumph website states the flyscreen is not suitable for the R3 Classic? Is it because of the two tone paint or is it a mounting problem? I have the front end fixing kit and the roadster screen but would like to change to the flyscreen.

If you have the fixing kit, the fly screen will bolt right on. I don't have the Classic, but I do have the Roadster screen and I swap back and forth between the two. I run the fly screen about 90% of the time though. You shouldn't have to adjust the fixing kit or anything. Just remove the four bolts holding the Roadster screen on and bolt on the fly screen.

I noticed that my instruments are much closer to the screen than my buddies standard rocket. This could be why. The handle bars and instrument mounts are different on the classic.

The bars are pulled back more on the Classic than the standard Rocket.
