R3 Bobber

New pics with seat, should have bitch bar, chicken lights, and slide fender before bike week.

tire

The tire is a Ventus 245,50/16. It rides better with the bigger tire. On another note, what ever happened to Miami Dave?

If you were asking for some ideas, and you didn't, but for the sake of discussion, here's some more that I would do...

1) First and foremost lose the windscreen. It is really killing the bike's look and is very anti-bobber.
2) Lose the gauges.
3) Lose the mirrors.
4) Change out the floorboards for pegs and swap out the foot controls accordingly.
5) Lose the tassels.

The essence of a bobber is, after all, a bike that has had all of the unnecessary stuff removed. So things like have been added on (like tassles and windscreens) give the bike a sort of identity crisis. Makes it look like a confused bagger. Just my humble opinion, but losing that stuff would really finish the bike out nicely and make it unmistakably a bobber.

For bonus points, strip the chrome and liberally powdercoat the bike in matte black or some other non-glossy color.

And is that a car tire on the back?

Those tassels could be dangerous at 140 mph...! Hey RR noticed your a pilot in Orlando,my brother flys a Citation 650 out of Hanscom field,Bedford Ma. He takes the jet for service in Orlando at MCO.

This takes time

Can't do this change over night! I have to paint and make sure I likes it.

I don't think you can really call it a Bobber. It's a nice bike, but it's no bobber with the stuff being added to it.
