Red face

Yo Black P.Have you heard that Foothills just bought the BMW Duc. dealership by FT Collins. Its just amazing to me that they continue to grow with such poor customer relations. They seem realy great when their hand is in your pocket at sales time but when you need something its different..I have to say that Erico got my lower cam chain sprocket in less than one week but Triumph knows of this problem and had them in the states. I got off on the wrong foot with Foothills when I bought the Rocket and asked Kevin a bunch of questions he couldn't answer. As long as we accept the crap we get it will never change..Just ask Rocket Mad. Realy a shame such a great bike has to be sold by greedy americans. Jack

Erico has my Rocket now so let's see if they can get it done fast. The funny part is my rad. hose started to leak so when I called Foothills asking them if they would cover it because it looks like the damage was done while they were putting the engine together, I was told no b/c it could happen while riding. Please explain to me how an object can make a 90 degree turn and hit the fat hose behind the radiator and puncture it? I just can't believe they won't take responsibility. I'm filing a complaint against them with Triumph and the owner and let's see if anybody cares.

P.S. I saw your Rocket for sale on Craigs, why?

I ditto this post about Foothills BMW. I've had my ignition switch go out and my transmission dampier bearing and Foothills took, what I thought was a long time to fix. Especially the transmission bearing. I wonder if warranty work gets the same priority of someone paying out of pocket. I get a feeling it doesn't. I was very frustrated that it took 2 full weeks and almost 3 full weekends for them to fix this bearing. When i called Mathew my sales rep to ask them if the guys in the back new what the *** they were doing, he hung up on me. This after buying two bikes from him and refering a buddy who bought one from him too. I want my sales rep to be on my side at all times and he only was when I was spending money there. That's not the kind of dealer I want to buy from.

Manayunk Triumph in Philly is a top-notch operation. Small, independent, friendly.

Also, our former head tech, Irish Mike, now works for Pat Clark Motorsports in Vegas. I have no idea if they're a good outfit or not but I can tell you that he's an excellent mechanic.

I visited Manayunk last June after I came home from Afghanistan. Small shop but well stocked and friendly. Got a t-shirt, in fact I'm wearing it now.

I stand by D&D in NW Fl. I have seen the shop several times fix stuff from other planets. Dink is Mr Triumph and anything on 2 wheels as far as I've seen. Excellent classic restorations. Now that Dennis works there now I have to avoid it like the plague ;-).
