On the other hand, castle powersports in madison tn.(nashville) has never treated me well. has tried to rip me off every time i went in there, and succeeded a couple of times. I have no problem with the techs that turn the wrenches, but the managers have really lost my trust and respect.

FWIW -
I have just gotten my Rocket back from Castle - they did warranty work for output bearing.
I was ready for 10K service but the fluids were all changed during the warranty work.
Generally they were good to me. I certainly didn't get the impression they were trying to rip me off.
I admit that I'm always cautious around mechanic shops, whether bike or auto, since, once they have the vehicle, we're at their mercy, in a sense. And ... they never seem to document every single line item enough for me ... $ NNN for labor is never as illuminating as $nn for oil change, $nn for adjust brakes, etc. Ultimately it's a matter of letting them make a little money for providing a service and establishing enough of a relationship with them to build a level of trust and fairness.
As for me, I'll take a competent shop that costs a little more over a cheap, incompetent shop any day (NOT suggesting the Chattanooga folks are the latter - I've been there and they are OK). I just can't justify the extra 50 miles to get there instead of Castle ... so far, it isn't worth the extra time and trouble to get there and back.
I don't know enough to rate Castle in Madison 5 stars but they certainly seem competent and fair ... The only problem I have is that they charge MSRP on all the parts and accessories. Add 9% TN sales tax to that & ouch!
Of course, the next visit can always change an opinion.
