For my upcoming trip to Daytona and possibly Key West, I guess if I have any problems I'll have to hope I make it to Palm Beach Triumph. Are there any other good Florida Triumph dealers besides the two that are mentioned?

MCC Rocks in terms of 5 star dealers

MCC of Illinois is the best.

Let me put it this way, I did not buy the bike from them, they were the ones to put the bike together for me after terrible experiences with Old Town Motorcycle. MCC's customer service is great. They will give you a loaner bike when fixing yours. They lent me a Rocket when working on my rocket. They will pick up your bike in the middle of winter in anticipation of a spring tune up and drop it off when they are done. Their mechanic, DAVE, will tell you what is wrong and even tell you when to stay away from certain add ons which -while it costs MCC a sale in the short term- keeps long term customers.

And I had the opposite experience with

OLD TOWN MOTORCYCLE SHOPPE
1421 N WELLS ST
CHICAGO, IL
60610-2053
Phone: 312-787-9133

They were beyond bad. They lied to me about work that was done and not done. They had beyond incredible turn over. They plain were bad. They are the sister store of the joliet location

these are the three locations

Motoplex of Joliet Motoplex of South Chicago Old Towne Motocycle Shoppe
1689 New Lenox Rd 11425 S Harlem 1421 N Wells
Joliet, IL 60433 Worth, IL 60482 Chicago, IL 60610
815) 722-2264 708) 448-5822 312) 787-9133

here is what others have said previously.

I recently have gone into two of the three shops that are run by the owners of the Joliet shop. In one location they couldn't tell me what they could offer me on the 04 Sprint that was on their floor nor did they even know what the MSRP was. I was told that they would have someone call me the next day and no one ever did.
In both shops the stock they had was as follows:
70 % Victory/Custom Choppers
15% ATVs or snowmobiles
5% Triumph/Aprilia
The guys I talked to in the Joliet shop were nice but they were avid American V-Twin enthusiasts and they new very little about Triumph motorcycles.
If you are considering coming this far north you should check out MCC (Motor Cycle Center) in Villa Park. They have been with Triumph and servicing Triumphs for a long time. They only sell and service European Motorcycles. They are really laid back and super friendly. They owners (Geoff and Greg) are there everyday and are extremely knowledgeable. Good Luck"

Dealer

I am looking for a new dealer. Think the dealer in Halifax will fix warranty problems even though I did not buy bike there?

I third the motion for MCC (MotorCycle Center) in Villa Park, IL. Great bunch of guys there operating out of a tiny shop. Have had nothing but good experiences over the past several years.

Same question

I later remembered I'd asked the same question over in general/models and dealers about a year ago. Got a few responses.

...and there's a lot to be gleaned from that forum if you take some time looking through it. Both good and bad.

Joe's Cycle Shop in Dayton, OH. I have purchased three bikes from them and felt I received a good deal on all bikes I bought. They have been in business for over 40 years and only deal in Triumph and Yamaha motorcycles.

So far so good-Castle Powersports

I bought a 2008 Rocket 3 touring from Castle last week and added a little over $2k in accessories. SO far it had been a great experience as the took about 27% off the accessories and installed them for almost nothing and I didn't have to pay tax as I am from out of state. 3 of my parts aren't in yet so Bubba delivered the Rocket 270 miles round trip for free. I agree that Mike at Southern is probably good as I talked to him about a left over 06' and he followed up with me very well but hey were just too far away. I hope that we get a trumph dealer closer someday.
