Rocket style saddlebags & storage trunk.

I have avoided installing saddlebags as long as I could but when I saw these on eBay I thought they would be a good fit with the Rocket theme. After painting the bags I added booster rocket style LED brake lights and turn signal lights. The bags are attached with Easy Brackets so they are lockable and removable.

The Givi trunk has a built-in backrest and is also expandable and lockable. I really like the aerodynamic shape. The beaded seat cover is amazingly comfortable and keeps your butt noticeably cooler by allowing air flow.

I am much more visible to traffic with the additional lights. These LED's are pretty bright. Overdue for a new rear tire...

The bags came with 4 red reflectors. I replaced them with working LED rocket style red tail lights and amber turn signal lights. I wired them directly to the haness located under the right side cover. Tht way if I ever decide to put the stock signals back on all I have to do is plug them back in.

The top case is a Givi Speedpack.

That looks sharp doglanta, great with the speedpack, those look similar to ones I saw on a mfg site and passed but on your set up I will take another look. Any info on those bags?

Sorry, I don't know the manufacturer of the bags. I bought them a while back from a Honda dealer service tech. They had been sitting in a store room at the dealership for years and years. His boss just wanted them out so he gave the 5 or 6 sets still new in boxes to the tech. He sold them all on eBay. I am guessing they are at least 20 years old or more. I have had them about a year until just recently modifying them for my Rocket.

bags

There seems to be lots of hard bags on the market that will work on the rocket, with a small amount of custom fitting. You did a good job! And with the obscene price of the corbins, looks like a worthwhile venture. The corbins look good, but not that good!
