The bike is still in the shop (4 weeks yesterday). I'm not thrilled about it, but it is winter, and I've got other bikes to ride. I'd rather have the dealer take a little longer, and make sure it's right.
I'm lucky...it's a great dealer, with great mechanics, so I'm not worried.
If my car was tied up that long, the dealer would give me a loaner. Anything mechanical is bound to have some problems at some time, Why work yourself up if it's properly taken care of?

Four weeks just because its winter or could it be four weeks in the middle of summer. I just can't believe you guys accept this kind stuff. And are you sure your TECH knows what hes doing..Most that have been opened up seem to have more problems. They fix one and create another. Techs ahha they learn as they go.I can fix my own stuff if they give me the parts but no,just bring it in to our 18 year old TECH>>TEhe
Rotsa ruck gang.

I'm not saying I'm happy with 4 weeks, but you either get pissed off about it, or deal with it.
The majority of delays came from waiting for the Triumph rep to come and inspect it, and approve the repairs, and then waiting for parts.
I'm lucky enough to have other bikes to ride. There's enough in work and life to get upset about. I don't need to work myself up about the bike.

Sounds great money bags..Tehe If I had your money Id throw mine away.-----(waiting for the Triumph rep ) If they would put the money in the bike instead of REPS.suckin down a salary every year. Did you know that the Rocket makes more profit for them than their other bikes..So put some of that profit back into cam sprokets and output shaft bearings and do it quicker than 4 years mabey 5,we will see when everyone starts ridden again..BJC

BUSAJACK..without trying to hijack this thread..give us the scoop on the ZX-14..!! If it makes the Rocket III look crude I can just imagine the fun your having..lol It's hard to avoid the"crying game" when something or someone turns out to be differant than what you expected of them..!

Gee wiz Jack, triumph must have really pissed you off! Hope i didnt piss anyone off? I too appreciate the refinement of jap bikes, owning many and abusing the hell out of them. That refinement doesnt turn me on any more. Your right about the crudeness of the r3. But what a special mutt it is! Anyway Jack, would love to hook up for a ride together sometime soon. As far as racing goes, i have enough injurys from bikes to leave my ego at home these days. (Growing old i guess). Maybe we can meet around fart collins somtime and cruz the canyons a bit. peace out!

If you're that unhappy with your bike and dealer, why are you keeping it? You have other bikes too.
I work my ass off for everything I own.
