No vibration at any speed.
Sorry. Wish I could help.

I am sure that I would not be plowing new ground to ask the obvious questions:

1. vibration same in all gears at a single speed, or at an rpm range no matter what gear?

2.Tire and wheel dynamic balance and inflation checked?

3.driveshaft balance?

I don't mean to sound like I am treating you as if those things have not already been looked at. I am just curious to know how to resolve the problem.

I don't know if this will help, but it's worth mentioning. When did you last get tires, and has it done this thru 2 different sets? i ask because i had this horrible vine on my speedmaster in 2nd gear only and at a certain RPM, about 2k if i recall. I spent months trying everything you can imagine and asked everywhere and the issue stumped me and all others. It began a few hundred miles after a new set of tires. Same tires as were stock...metzelers. Turned out the front tire was defective. Who could have imagined i would get a cyclic type vibration that only happened in second and only at a specific rpm from a defective tire? Your vibes are a bit different, but i would suggest you take a serious look at the possibility of a defective or ill wearing tire.
I couldn't list the things i tried even including even replacing wheel bearings. The list is VERY long. I'm sure the dealer wouldn't have had a clue either. just some food for thought. And by the way, if the dealer is telling you this is normal, ask him why other R3's don't do this and contact triumph directly. But remember, if it IS a tire and not the original that came with the bike, they are not responsible.

I had it the first thousand miles or so, then it just went away. Does the vibration keep getting worse with speed or does it smooth out at higher RPM's? What measures to date have you taken to try and fix it?

I have the same vibration but until this thread I thought nothing of it; I assumed it was the natural vibration of the engine. I've ridden two other rockets and I seem to recall the same vibration, so I'm confident that my bike isn't unique. The vibration seems to change frequencies throughout the rev range and actually decreases at higher revs which would indicate that this isn't an internal balance issue and can be attributed to the natural imbalances of a three cylinder engine. Even as a stressed member, the Rocket's engine is a lot smoother than most of the twins I've ridden. The only bikes I've ridden that were close to vibration free were those with flat sixes or counter-balanced 4 cylinders.

3200 RPM in every gear or a certain gear?

Is there a noise or just a shake?

Is there a faring or wind screen, if so are the bolts tight?

Have you tightened the chrome screws around the radiator?

What year Rocket?

I had vibrations that started at 3200 with my '06 Classic too. I broke the bike in easy, shifting around 3000, until I got a 1000 miles on it. Then I started twisting the throttle and the sights, sounds and thrills were different. While I call them vibrations, for me I think I just paid attention to much to the new sounds and feel of pushing the performance of the bike.

Barring any control type issues, I would just go with it as you have the 2 year warranty. Since the vibration has not changed over the past year, I think this is evidence that it is a natural harmonic rather than any type of mechanical failure.
