What a Rocket does to a Harley owner...

Last weekend my Pack went on our monthly ride. At one of our stops a curious Harley owner ventured over to Chuck's new Rocket. I happened to snap this photo which I believe sums it all up.

That guy is not a Hardly owner, he just stepped out of a photo shoot for a some sort of clean living advertisement.

I had that same look about 200 feet into my test ride.
Still got it some days.

I've had only one bad experience with a harley owner. I parked in a motorcycle space at my Triumph dealer. The Rocket's a pretty wide bike with panniers so it takes up most of the space. When I was ready to leave, I see a harley in the spot to my right parked all the way to the left in his space. So I get on my bike, start it up, and try to back out. I was getting very close to his bags when a little gruff, mustachioed asshole comes out relating how he was saying inside that some guy was hogging the parking but would I like him to pull up. I said, "yes, thanks", but inside, "why'd you park so close to me and how'd you like me to knock your ****ty little bike over, asshole? " This was quite a while ago. I have issues.

****....that could of been me......except I then went and road tested a Rocket and had to trade the Harley in on a Rocket.

Check out the New 2008 Dyna Fat Bob...with it's dual head lights...! Just wait till the "BEAST'' reaches it's tenth birthday..and watch the conversion begin...! When I pull up to the HD dealer on the Rocket to get parts for the Ole RK the whole store comes out to check out thr Rocket.. and the questioning begins....I always tell them it's like wriggles chewing gum Double the flavor Double the fun...! lol

I just love it when I pull up to a Harley at a light. There he is, constantly blipping his throttle and making a bunch of noise. That's when I lean over, and say,"Hey! Nice little motorcycle you have there!" Really gets them p***ed off. So, now they think they're going to blow me in the weeds when the light changes....Sorry guys, bye-bye. Don't any of these Harley riders ever read about the Rocket III in any of the magazines? I haven't had a ticket in about 15 years, but now with the Rocket I know I'm about to get nailed for a biggee....

I'm riding my husbands Rocket (with the condition if I damage it, he gets a brand new one)
I tool around town, minding my own business and EVERY vehicle known to man wants to race me. I'm a chick for God's sakes, I just want to ride around, enjoy the sleek, fast ride and VW Bugs, rev their engines; landscaping trucks are speeding past giving me the 'bring it on' nod.
They just dont realize the beast's power.
