I like the original design better and would not choose the new model if I were buying again, but I think it will sell well to those inclined toward more traditional styling. It will be interesting to see if it sells better than the original Rocket. Maybe triumph will rake it out and do their own version of Yammy's Raider next year, seeing as the chopper craze is still going full bore.

I wonder if the new "bear claw" will fit out tanks? I do like that.. but it probably doesn't.

Is the touring tank symmetrical or is there a bear claw on the left side?

Who are they kidding?
My Email showing the new Rocket111 included price: $16699 US, $19999 Canadian. Considering that this mornings news showed the Canadian dollar as trading at over $1.02 US I would say they are trying to rip Canadians off something fierce. No doubt they are pulling the same sort of self-serving crap some of the car companies are using to prevent cross-border shopping while they pocket the almost 20% premium on top of msrp. Anyone North of the border who knowingly buys any product that is not reflecting the appropriate exchange rate must really enjoy the sensation of something probing their nether regions.

I prefer the original dual instrument pods over the HD style
tank panel, more inline with Triumph history. But I still
enjoy the gauges my 1972 Norton 750 Combat had, the old green slashed world images and t-shirts were cool not to mention the Norton girls!!!
