First Edition one of 200

I recently bought this beast used from a non-Triumph dealer on consignment.

The original owner brought in some paperwork to give to me the other day and in the pile was a hand signed by John Bloor certificate (with VIN) stating that this bike is one of 200 First Edition Rocket IIIs sold in the US, down in the lower left it read 1/200.

Now, I highly doubt this is THE #1 of 200 but when I look at numbered editions of anything else, when it says 1/200, then it's the #1 of that series. If it were #50 of 200 it would have read 50/200.

Or, were these just templates printed off that all read the same that John signed?

If that were the case, why the heck didn't they actually number them in order of sale, they included the VIN for each one...

Anyone else out there have one of these certificates? Does it say the same thing as mine?

Nope, certificate is identical except VIN, too bad they did that with the lower left corner 1/200 instead of actually numbering them.
