No, I don't think so. Clearly, you can't have that much more mass (I make it to be 115 pounds, but who's counting) without there being a few differences such as I spelled out before. I used to go back and forth between my Sportster and the Rocket on a regular basis, however, and the handling differences were a lot less significant to the transition between bikes than, say, the footpeg positions.
