Rocket Bug Screen Compartment

I was reading on the other site for Rockets and I saw some one had created a lexan compartment under the bug screen for the Rocket.
Has anyone else seen anything like that before?

Thank you Karl

This is what I did with Lexan and a heat gun, I made a form so while I was heating it I could get a nice crisp clean bend. The maps or misc things stay put it works fine. The gauge is a Scan gauge II which hooks to the OBDII. I bought it after doing the compartment then I did the compartment over and made a sill for the gauge.

Haven't seen anyone with it, but I have been thinking the same thing for a while now. It is something I plan to do soon. It doesn't seem to get too hot behind the fly screen, so it would be great.. say, if you're wearing a full face helmet and shade... but you want to take the shades off. You can just throw them in the fly screen and all is good.

Up until very recently, I was storing a bottle of water under my flyscreen - the wind passing over it seemed to keep the water quite cool. I am now about to relocate the ignition switch and mount my Zumo above the clocks out of the way, so will have to find somewhere else for my water. I found that I could slurp without spilling too much while riding and wearing a Schuberth C2 helmet.

A little compartment sounds like a good idea though - wish I'd thought of it.

Question

Does Triumph make a pouch to fit on the Roadster Screen..? I can't seem to find one anywhere on the Triumph accessory link.. The screen does seem to come with an attachment for one..with two velcro strips...?

You really need the heating gun to bend the Lexan if you use a torch it tends to bubble the lexan. It comes in handy for holding maps....I used the bug screen as a template. It keeps things fairly dry as long as it is not a huge down poor as well.

I have seen other Rocket owners use large spacers to push the screen up and create a larger area underneath it. This was okay for some but personally it was not the look I wanted. Karll
