I'm Back!!!

I'm glad to see you all made it on here, I almost didn't. I'm spread thin with the Dot Net site but you guys are Rockin' over here and that's cool. Let me get some things set up and I'll be around!

Tomo

Hey, Tom, glad to see you around again.

Super Moderator, eh? Hadn't noticed that designation until the new software. Is that like a superhero, or just a swell guy generally, or are some sort of congratulations in order...or have I not been paying adequate attention to a change that happened earlier?

It means I'm super stupid....

Actually, with the VB software SuperMods can move to any part of the website and moderate it. For example, if someone were to put up spam links to porn sites in the Tiger forum at 3 AM I would first have to look at the porn to see if its any good, and if it isn't I could delete it, even though technically I'm not the Mod for the Tiger forum.

Super Mods can fill in when other Mods go on vacation and so on. On the old TRat that wasn't possible.

So now you have more of a staff that can keep tabs on things. And by that, I mean to help serve you guys better. I'm not here to check your spelling and adjust your morality.... I ain't got time for that and it wouldn't do any good anyway.

Keep in mind that this is a new setup and more features will be added, I'm sure. It takes time. This is the same software that we are using over at R3Owners.net and one of the reasons Shawn created that website was to learn how it could be used to update TRat (I know no one believes that but looky... here it is). I'm sure I will turn into a useful guinea pig since I've spent the last year and a half playing in the sandbox over there.

TRat is so much bigger than Dot Net that Shawn is starting out very conservatively. Once we figure out how it is going to work out we can turn some things on to make this place rock. All you guys have to do is keep on keepin' on and have fun.
