They are pretty well protected from water also. No issues for me and there are several others that run this setup with no problems.

They will fit under the cover without modifying the cover or moving the coolant overflow tank.

It looks like the water tank is pretty close to the front of the front filter.

Does the bearclaw contact any of the purple filter parts?

Do the rU-2780's clamp directly onto the throttle bodies?

They clamp right on. There is clearance around all of the filter media. The only part that touches is the rear filter that is slanted, you can see the dent on the rubber top.

I dread the idea of taking that ***** manifold off again but I may do it. 20050_3 does it for you?

That's what I'm talkin' about - $50 for the filters and $650 for the PCIII and tune. When will it end!

Pig9r--Your suggestions and pictures have been invaluable. I feel like I'm ready now to proceed with the conversion to to the 3 K&N's. I don't understand why you would be ordering a PCIII if you already have Tuneboy. Would you explain the reasoning there? Thanks again for all your great help! --Ken B.

I can't find someone in my area willing to do a custom dyno tune with Tuneboy. They all want to plug and play with PCIII.

You will be cussing me when you are trying to remove the intake plenum from under the tank, won't he Doug?

I guess I'm going to show my ignorance here but I thought the basic custom maps had already been done. Since I have TORS, cat bypass, and will have 3 K&N's, I thought all I had to do was download 20050_3 and be done with it. Am I missing something here? Thanks-Ken B.
