Due to need for a cage. Hope to get another Triumph (rumored Rocket hard bagger?) next year assuming the money's there.

CHECK CLASSFIEDS for several accessories I took off which are now for sale including Roadster w/fixings, lowers, Rivco solo rack, driver boards & more at BIG savings!!! (excuse the spam :-D )

Aw man, I know that's got to be painful. Like you, I'm looking forward to the time when sufficient money and the right Rocket will show up simultaneously. Then the world will be set right once again...

Thanks for the encouragement--yes it is one of those situations but I will "Triumph" again

Just out of curiosity, the Road King and the Ulysses stay, but the Rocket goes?

Yup entirely a matter of expediency, the details of which I won't go into--nobody should read a diss of the Rocket into that decision. Like I said it may not be my last

Well. like I said, I was just curious. Thanks for sharing! I actually took that as a good sign since a Ulysses is on the short list for my next bike.
Good luck on the sale and hope you're back on a Rocket soon.

I still have the Uly not because it's a better bike than the Rocket but because it serves an entirely different purpose.

Sbljr: Your call or challenge, no doubt. But I don't like old timers quitting on me. Best. Jamie

Jaime, I'm not quitting triumphrat.net and have not owned my last Triumph (perhaps not last Rocket for that matter--we'll see what the Hinckley boys come up with for 08 and beyond).

Most of the old timers who've quit went over to the other forum a long time ago. Even Toystore Tom doesn't seem to post here anymore. But others will come along. There is still good information to be had here so they will find it!
